Ukrainian govt won't allow anarchy - PM Azarov

The Ukrainian government will not allow anarchy and a division in the country, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"The president and the government will not allow any anarchy, any chaos and divisions in the country," Azarov said at a government meeting on Wednesday.

The prime minister called on the Ukrainian citizens to accept and support the balanced policy pursued by the authorities.

Azarov also urged the opposition to decide whether it supports the protesters' aggressive actions in Kyiv. "If no, it [the opposition] should call on the demonstrators to stop confrontation, and if yes, claim responsibility for these actions," he said.
