Dead man found on Hrushevskoho Street in Kyiv had 2 gunshot wounds - source
A young man whose body was found on Wednesday morning on Hrushevskoho Street in the center of Kyiv, which has been an arena of fierce clashes between protesters and security forces over the past several days, died from gunshot wounds, a local law enforcement source told Interfax-Ukraine.
"This is a young man from Dnipropetrovsk. He has gunshot wounds to the chest and the head," he said.
Interfax-Ukraine has yet to obtain official comments on the matter from law enforcement agencies.
The source pointed out that the security forces deployed on Hrushevskoho Street have not been provided with firearms.
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry had confirmed earlier that a man's body had been found on Hrushevskoho Street with injuries that had not yet been unidentified.
