New legislation contradicts Ukraine's European aspirations, says Fule
European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule has said that the legislative amendments adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 16 contradict the European aspirations of Ukrainians.
"Ukraine profoundly concerned by new legislation limiting freedoms, contradicting European aspirations and commitments from Association Agreement," Fule wrote on Twitter on Friday.
