Ukraine, EU to resume Association Agreement talks soon, says Foreign Ministry
Ukraine plans to resume soon the talks with the European Union on signing the Association Agreement.
"We expect that such consultations will soon be continued," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry information policy department director Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing.
The pause in the consultations was related to Christmas holidays and now Kyiv expects the negotiations to resume as quickly as possible, Perebyinis said.
"The coming months, during which consultations between Ukraine and the EU will be held, will show when exactly this agreement will be signed," Perebyinis said.
Kyiv counts on attaining mutually beneficial conditions for the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement implementation, Perebyinis said.
