Tymoshenko was ready to go to UESU court hearing – Vlasenko
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was ready to go to a hearing of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) case, the ex-premier's defense counsel Serhiy Vlasenko.
"In the morning Yulia Volodymyrivna said that she was ready for the trip, while [the chief of the Kachanivska Colony Ihor] Kolpaschykov said in response: 'alright, I can see you don't want to go'," Vlasenko told an Interfax-Ukraine reporter following a meeting with Tymoshenko at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv.
He also said that, according to Tymoshenko, only the chief of the colony came to her in the morning, while the document submitted by the penitentiary service to the court was signed by three people.
