Speaker sees no reason to create new majority in parliament
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has said he thinks that there are no grounds for the creation of a new majority in parliament.
"At present there is a majority... There is a majority, and I have no questions or statements to that effect. This question was not officially considered by committees," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday, while commenting on statements by certain politicians regarding a possible formation of a new coalition in the Verkhovna Rada.
Rybak said that these were "behind-the-scenes conversations and statements by some deputies."
