Social payments, wages, pensions to keep growing in Ukraine – Yanukovych
The growth of wages, pensions, and social payments will continue in Ukraine next year, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.
"We are not giving up the way we started in 2010 towards higher wages, pensions, and social payments in all directions," the president said at a meeting with the candidates for the positions of district state administration head.
Yanukovych stressed that delays in payment of wages were unacceptable.
"Unfortunately, we have such cases of delays for various reasons. Such cases must not occur. The payments must be always on time to the day, so as to eliminate any doubt about it," he said.
The president also stressed that new workplaces have to be created in regions.
