Klitschko invites Ukrainians to celebrate New Year and Christmas holidays on Maidan
UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko has called on Ukrainian citizens to celebrate New Year and Christmas holidays on Independence Square in Kyiv.
"We won't leave this place in any case. I'm inviting you to stand and celebrate the New Year here, on the Maidan. Yes? We are planning to celebrate Christmas with our families. Yes? We will stand!" Klitschko said at a popular assembly in the center of Kyiv on Sunday.
He said that Ukrainians are a European nation and should prove that with a struggle for a better future for their country.
Klitschko also stressed the need to restart the power and hold early presidential and parliamentary elections.
