Ukraine seeking observer status in Eurasian Economic Union - Yanukovych
Ukraine expects to be granted observer status in the Eurasian Economic Union, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.
"As concerns the Eurasian Union, we filed a written bid in Astana in August this year to consider Ukraine's participation in the Eurasian Union as an observer," Yanukovych said in an interview with Ukrainian media in Kyiv on Thursday.
