Parliament works for several minutes on Wednesday, speaker invites faction leaders to talks
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has opened a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada and closed it a few minutes later.
An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that 217 deputies had been registered in the session hall.
"I'm asking the leaders of factions to come to my office for consultations, and I'm closing the meeting due to the inability to work," Rybak said.
MPs from opposition factions continued to block the rostrum and presidium in the session hall.
