First Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Oleksandr Holubchenko will serve as head of the city administration while Oleksandr Popov is suspended from office.
On Monday, Holubchenko held a meeting with the deputy heads of the city administration, the heads of local districts, the directors of departments and utility services on ensuring the city's regular functioning, the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper reported, referring to the administration's press service.
As reported, Popov was suspended as head of Kyiv City State Administration pending an investigation into a case on the violent breaking up of a peaceful rally on Independence Square on November 30.
