Door wide open for Ukraine to sign Association Agreement with EU – Swedish Foreign Minister

Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt says that the door is wide open for Ukraine to sign an Association Agreement wit the he European Union.

"The door is wide open for Ukraine to sign [an] association and free trade agreement with [the] EU. It's ready. Any time," he wrote on his Twitter page.

The EU is suspending work with the Ukrainian government on the Association Agreement, European Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fule tweeted on Sunday. "Words & deeds of President [Viktor Yanukovych] & government regarding the Association Agreement are further & further apart. Their arguments have no grounds in reality," Fule said.
