Ukraine starts to prepare road map to minimize negative effects of signing association deal with EU, says Yanukovych
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that Kyiv has been in talks with both Russia and the European Union about ways to minimize negative consequences form the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU.
"I've suggested seeking an answer in the new resumed consultations with the European Union and involving our strategic partner Russia in this work. The first meeting of Ukraine's working group and Commissioner for Enlargement [Stefan] Fule in Brussels took place yesterday. Work has started on the preparation of a road map to deal with this issue, which has been raised by us, the European Union and Russia," the head of state said at a national roundtable on Friday.
