Yanukovych outraged by violence on Independence Square in Kyiv
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych says he is outraged by "radical actions" that took place earlier on Independence Square in Kyiv, as security forces brutally dispersed an opposition rally.
"I am outraged by the radical actions that took place on Maidan [Independence Square] both on the part of agents provocateurs and security forces, who did not always behave adequately," Yanukovych said at a nationwide roundtable meeting under the motto "Let's Unite Ukraine" on Friday.
