Nine protesters detained on December 1 walk free, says party
Seven of nine participants in the December 1 riots at Bankova Street, and two of the three people prosecuted for riots near the cabinet building have been released in Kyiv.
"We won't stop at that, we'll demand their full rehabilitation and the closing of the cases," MP from Batkivschyna faction Pavlo Petrenko said at the briefing at the National Resistance Headquarters.
According to him, the cases of more two detainees will be considered on Friday. He said that he is hoping the courts make fair decisions on them.
Deputy of Svoboda party Oleh Mohnytsky, in turn, said that on Thursday Shevchenkivsky district court of Kyiv received eight administrative protocols against people who were detained during the confrontation between Berkut security officers and protesters on Maidan on the night on December 10-11.
