Ukraine, EU resume talks on signing Association Agreement, says Kozhara
Ukraine and the European Union have already resumed talks on signing the Association Agreement, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara has said.
"We have resumed these talks. A technical mission has already been to Brussels, a preliminary range of issues to be discussed has already been determined. And now a visit at a higher political level – that by First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov will take place," he said on Thursday in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine, when asked when it was planned to renew the negotiations.
He also expressed his confidence that Ukraine should continue to draw closer to the European Union, as defined by the country's laws.
"In my opinion, a country that does not participate in the integration processes loses in the competition on the world markets. We must continue the course of European integration, and this is the official policy of the government - it is a requirement of the law," the foreign minister said.
