Ukrainian govt, President Yanukovych must resign - Klitschko
Ukrainian UDAR party leader Vitali Klitschko has come to the opposition camp on Kyiv's Independence Square to declare from the Maidan stage the need for the resignation of the government and President Viktor Yanukovych.
"I am confident that we must demand the resignation of both the government and the president after what has happened," Klitschko said early on Wednesday morning as reported by an Interfax correspondent.
Klitschko said he was confident the protesters would defend Maidan.
He asked the police "not to make the mistake" of using force against peaceful protesters.
