People's self-defense groups gathering outside Kyiv City Hall, police stand watching

Activists formed in people's self-defense groups have gathered outside the Kyiv City Hall building.

There are about a hundred people standing outside the building, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported. The people with sticks in their hands are wearing helmets. Several dozens of them have rushed towards Kyiv's Independence Square.

Yet, the internal troops cordon is still standing at the intersection of Khreschatyk Street and Bohdan Khmelnytsky Streets.
