Kyiv's Teatralna subway station opened, no explosives found – Interior Ministry
Kyiv police have completed a search for possible explosives at the Teatralna subway station - none have been found and the station resumed work in an orderly fashion.
"Teatralna station is already open, and no explosives were found," the Kyiv police press office told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the press service, police opened a criminal case under the Article 259 (deliberately false report on a threat to the security of the citizens, and the destruction of or damage to property).
As reported, the Kyiv police received a message through the 102 phone line from unidentified people that bombs had been planted at three metro stations in the center of the city – Teatralna, Khreschatyk and Maidan Nezalezhnosti. The stations were closed, and trains ran through them without stopping.
