Protesters block passage to building of Prosecutor General's Office
Pro-EU demonstrators on Monday morning blocked the passage to the building of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO), are not allowing employees to enter the building and are insulting them, the PGO's press service has reported.
"Demonstrators have again blocked the work of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine since today's morning, and through their illegal actions they are impeding the passage of prosecutors to their workplaces, thus violating public order," the press service reported.
It said that the demonstrators are trying to provoke employees of prosecuting agencies and are also shouting derogatory remarks against them.
"Such actions and the blocking of the work of a state body are nothing more than a violation of applicable law. The demand of protesters is the pressure on investigative and judicial authorities," reads the statement.
