Ukrainian opposition threatens to block presidential residence if Azarov's govt not dismissed
The opposition promises to block the presidential residence in Mezhyhirya if Prime Minister Mykola Azarov's government is not dismissed within 48 hours, Batkivschyna faction MP Serhiy Pashinsky said, the Ukrayinska Pravda newspaper reported.
"Yanukovych, we give you 48 hours. If during this time [Ukrainian Interior Minister Vitaliy] Zakharchenko is not arrested, if Azarov's government is not dismissed, if political prisoners are not released, we are going to Mezhyhirya," Pashinsky said at a protest rally on Sunday.
Protesters intend to block completely the buildings of the presidential administration and government on Sunday, Pashinsky said.
