Ukraine's opposition unable to meet with OSCE PA President due to logistics – OSCE PA Communications Director
OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Ranko Krivokapic says that the Ukrainian opposition suddenly cancelled a scheduled meeting with him on December 5 during his visit to Kyiv.
Krivokapic told a briefing held at the OSCE ministerial meeting in Kyiv on Thursday that meetings with the opposition had been cancelled at the very last moment, when the OSCE delegation was already on its way there.
Krivokapic said he did not know the reasons for this decision, but still wanted to meet with the Ukrainian opposition.
OSCE PA Director of Communications Richard Solash told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday that OSCE Parliamentarians and opposition leaders "were unable to work out the logistics of the meeting that all strived to make happen on December 5."
