Canada embarrassed over Ukraine's decision to postpone signing of Association Agreement with EU
Canada finds the decision of Ukraine to suspend talks regarding signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union rather unclear, Foreign Minister of Canada John Baird has said.
"It's still unclear under what conditions this decision was taken," he said during the OSCE ministerial meeting in Kyiv on Thursday.
He noted that recently Ukraine took a decision to suspend preparations for signing of this document because of the economic situation in the country.
Canada hopes Ukraine as soon as possible will restore the dialogue with EU concerning the agreement, Baird said.
