Yanukovych leaves for China

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych left on a state visit to China on Tuesday.

The head of state will visit China on December 3-6. Among the events on the program of this visit are negotiations between Yanukovych and Chinese President Xi Jinping (both one-on-one and between delegations), meetings with Chinese government officials and parliamentarians, a visit to Shaanxi Province, and a speech by Yanukovych at a business forum

The parties intend to sign some twenty documents aimed at developing strategic partnership between Ukraine and China and the expansion of bilateral interaction, in particular, in the political, energy, aircraft-building, agrarian, humanitarian, and other spheres.
