1,500 Lviv residents go to Kyiv for pro-EU rallies last night
The Lviv region's Coordination Council has sent more than 3,500 people from Lviv to Kyiv in the past three days to participate in ongoing pro-EU demonstrations in the Ukrainian capital, the Lviv regional administration said in a press release on Tuesday.
A total of 1,500 people left Lviv and headed to Kyiv last night alone, it said.
The Lviv regional administration established this council to coordinate measures during the ongoing protests against the Ukrainian government's decision to postpone the signing of the Association and Free Trade Area Agreement with the European Union.
