Yanukovych's visit to China is still planned - source

The visit by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to China is still planned by the president, a diplomatic source told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to earlier reports, Yanukovych will pay a state visit to China on December 3-6. Among the events on the program of this visit are negotiations between Yanukovych and Chinese President Xi Jinping (both one-on-one and between delegations), meetings with Chinese government officials and parliamentarians, a visit to Shaanxi Province, and a speech by Yanukovych at a business forum

The parties intend to sign some twenty documents aimed at developing strategic partnership between Ukraine and China and the expansion of bilateral interaction, in particular, in the political, energy, aircraft-building, agrarian, humanitarian, and other spheres, the Ukrainian presidential administration has reported.
