Government should provide conditions for peaceful demonstrations - Azarov
The government should provide conditions for holding demonstrations, and if rallies are peaceful – let them be, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.
"The government should provide conditions for holding demonstrations. And we have people who agree with the decision of the government and those who not. Everybody should be enabled to express their opinion. And if the protesters themselves go beyond the law, they will be responsible for their actions beyond the current legislation, destabilizing the situation in the country. It's not easy anyway," Azarov said in an interview with TSN TV Channel.
"Therefore, if these are normal protests, please - let them take place. Indeed, there are different opinions in the country," the premier said.
