Poland did everything and even more to ensure that Ukraine, EU sign Association Agreement – Komorowski
Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has said that Poland will continue to support Ukraine on its way towards the signature of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
"The EU has stated that the door is open for Ukraine, while the decision is in the hands of the Ukrainian government," Komorowski said at a press conference following the summit in Vilnius.
"Poland declares its readiness to support [Ukraine] in future. Poland has done a lot, I think that I have done everything, and even more in support of Ukraine on its difficult way towards the signature of the agreement with the EU."
He added that Poland supports all procedures aimed at achieving Ukraine's rapprochement with the western world and its integration with the EU.
