Yanukovych: Eastern Partnership summit shows EU's door is open for Ukraine
The Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius has been extremely important for Ukraine in terms of understanding the country's future, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has said.
"The Eastern Partnership summit was certainly very important for us in terms of understanding the future of Ukraine," he told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday after the summit in Vilnius.
"Today we have received the answer that the European Union's door is open for Ukraine, that we have time, which we should use [this time] to find out under which conditions Ukraine can take the next step," he said.
