EU hopes Ukraine will change its decision on association agreement by Eastern Partnership Summit in 2015, says Grybauskaite
Lithuania President Dalia Grybauskaite has said that the European Union hopes that Ukraine will change its decision on the Association Agreement by the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga in 2015.
"We hope that by the summit in Riga Ukraine will make its decisions, which will be beneficial for Ukraine itself," she said at a final press conference after the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius on Friday.
The next Eastern Partnership summit is scheduled for the first half of 2015 in Riga, Latvia, which will then be holding the presidency of the EU Council.
The EU does not intend to change the conditions Kyiv had to comply with in order to sign the Association Agreement, Grybauskaite said.
