EU plans to initial Association Agreement with Moldova, Georgia at Vilnius Summit, nothing mentioned about signing agreement with Ukraine, press release
The European Union called the November 29 Summit of the Eastern Partnership in Vilnius a historic one and said it expects important results from it.
"This is an important Summit in the history of the Eastern Partnership. It is expected that Moldova and Georgia will initial an Association Agreement with the EU, including a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area," reads an official press release from the European Commission, text of which Interfax-Ukraine has at its disposal.
Moreover, EU expects the signing at the summit of a Visa Facilitation Agreement with Azerbaijan and the initialing of the Common Aviation Area Agreement with Ukraine.
However, nothing was mentioned about the signing of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine in the press release.
