EU's offer for Ukraine still stands, says Lithuanian FM
Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius has said that it is not too late for Ukraine to change its mind about the Association Agreement with the EU.
"Every day we are getting mixed signals [about Ukraine's decision], we have become used to them, we maintain a consistent position reminding Ukrainians that the proposals are on the table. If any new information arrives, we are ready to respond quickly. All heads of states and foreign ministers [of the EU] are staying in Vilnius, we can immediately react if the situation changes," Linkevicius said on radio Ziniu radijas on Thursday.
"If we do not resolve this today or tomorrow, it is not a tragedy. Of course, it will be much harder, time here is working against us, naturally the pressure of the opposing sides will increase," the minister said.
