EU hopes Yanukovych will attend summit in Vilnius – Fule
The European Union hopes that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will take part in the forthcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.
"We really hope for Ukraine's full participation and the participation of President Yanukovych in the summit," European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule said during a TV linkup with Ukrainian journalists on Monday.
He also said that the participation in the summit could be a good opportunity for the Ukrainian president to share his opinion on European integration.
