Oppositional members of parliamentary working group register bill on break in serving sentence
Members of the oppositional parliamentary factions have registered a bill amending some laws of Ukraine regarding a break in serving a sentence.
Bill No. 3693 was registered on the Web site of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on Monday.
The drawing up of the bill was initiated by MPs Andriy Kozhemiakin, Iryna Lutsenko, Hennadiy Moskal (Batkivschyna faction), Iryna Heraschenko (UDAR faction), and Andriy Mischenko (Svoboda faction).
These parliamentarians are the members of the Verkhovna Rada's working group that was formed on November 8 for the elaboration of a bill that could allow resolving the problem of convicted former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
The working group, however, never managed to draw up a single bill on treatment of convicts abroad.
The text of bill No. 3693 has not been posted on the parliament's Web site.
