OSCE chairperson-in-office urges Transdniestria not hinder work of OSCE mission in Moldova
Ukrainian Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Leonid Kozhara has called on Transdniestria not to hinder the work of the OSCE mission in Moldova.
"As OSCE chair I would like to appeal to the Transdniestrian leadership not to allow restrictions on the OSCE's activity in Moldova, as it has the status of a mediator in the negotiation process," he said, while opening another round of talks on the Transdniestrian settlement in the 5+2 format in Kyiv on Monday.
He also said he expected full cooperation between the Transdniestrian side and the OSCE mission as part of its current mandate to be extended.
