Ukraine signaled to Europe that timing of agreement with EU could change - Azarov
Ukraine gave signals to the European Union that if economic problems which the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU could cause were not resolved, the time of signing the document could be changed, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"We did not conceal our position. We spoke frankly but we also said that we are doing our utmost for Ukraine to come to the Vilnius summit well-prepared," Azarov said in an interview with "Sunday time" show on Russia's Channel 1.
He noted that Europe had constantly insisted that Ukraine fulfill the conditions of signing the agreement and that the Ukrainian government was not 100% sure that the document would be signed at the summit in Vilnius.
