Ukrainian oppositionists to attend Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius
The leaders of the UDAR, Batkivschyna, and Svoboda parliamentary factions – Vitali Klitschko, Arseniy Yatseniuk, and Oleh Tiahnybok – will attend the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius on November 28-29.
"[Ukrainian President] Viktor Yanukovych will not travel to Vilnius and the three of us will," Yatseniuk said at a press briefing on Thursday.
He said that the oppositionists will meet with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule on November 28.
Asked who told him that the president would not go to Vilnius, Yatseniuk said: "You'll see."
