Ukrainian PM discusses cooperation with EU with Cox, Kwasniewski

Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has met with observers of the European Parliament monitoring mission - former European Parliament President Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers posted a statement on its Web site on Thursday.

"The sides have discussed pressing issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union during the meeting," the document said.

The statement does not specify the time of the meeting - it is unknown whether it took place prior to or after the Ukrainian government decided to suspend preparations to sign the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
