Kyiv, Vienna agree to cooperate in fight against crime
An agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Federal Government of Austria on cooperation in the fight against crime was signed in Vienna on Thursday in the presence of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer, the press service of the Ukrainian president has reported.
The agreement will help strengthen bilateral cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries in order to prevent, detect, investigate and uncover crimes, including through the exchange of experience and information on the methods and measures of the fight against crime in accordance with the national laws of Ukraine and Austria.
