Rada to consider European integration bills on Thursday, says speaker
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will start to consider the bill on the prosecutor's office, the bill on the parliamentary election and the bill on the treatment of prisoners abroad on Thursday morning.
"At a conciliatory council [of faction leaders] we agreed that we will start to consider the European integration bills at a plenary meeting on Thursday morning," Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak said on Tuesday.
The speaker said that four bills that deal with the possibility of medical treatment of prisoners abroad, which the parliament was to address on Tuesday, would be considered on Thursday as well.
In turn, Leader of the Batkivschyna faction Arseniy Yatseniuk said that the opposition was ready to vote for the bill on treatment of prisoners abroad that met the demands of the Party of Regions.
He said the bill prepared by the opposition "fully complies with the draft that was put forward by the Party of Regions."
