Fule's visit to Ukraine a result of Yanukovych's phone conversation with Barroso

The forthcoming visit by European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule to Ukraine is the result of a phone conversation between Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.

"This visit is a continuation of a x phone conversation on Friday between Yanukovych and Barroso," said a spokesman for European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, Peter Stano.

Stano did not give any details on the agenda of the visit. He said that it will include meetings with all interested high officials, including representatives of the government, opposition, and civil society.

As reported, Fule will visit Ukraine on November 19.
