New EPP president invites Tymoshenko, Yatseniuk, Klitschko to meeting ahead of Vilnius summit
Newly elected President of the European People's Party (EPP) Joseph Daul has invited Ukrainian oppositionists – Yulia Tymoshenko, Arseniy Yatseniuk, and Vitali Klitschko – to a meeting of the Eastern Partnership leaders of the EPP ahead of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.
The meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of November 28 before the official opening of the Eastern Partnership Summit, Deputy Head of the Batkivschyna Party Hryhoriy Nemyria told an Interfax-Ukraine reporter in Brussels on Thursday.
"The newly elected president of the EPP, leader of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, Mr Daul, said that he has sent an invitation to a meeting of the Eastern Partnership leaders to Tymoshenko, Yatseniuk, and Klitschko," he said.
