Tymoshenko urges EU leaders, Ukraine's opposition, public to do their best to sign association agreement
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has called on EU leaders, Ukrainian opposition and public to exert every effort for the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union, despite the destructive actions of Ukrainian authorities.
"I urge all the leaders of the European Union, the Ukrainian civil society and the opposition to act immediately and to press for the signing of the agreement (on association between Ukraine and the EU) under any circumstances," Tymoshenko said in a statement, which her daughter Yevhenia read to journalists in Kyiv on Tuesday.
