Cox-Kwasniewski mission to present final report in EP on November 13, says EU Delegation

The final report of members of the European Parliament's monitoring mission of former President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski and former European Parliament President Pat Cox will be presented at a meeting of the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament on November 13, Interfax-Ukraine has learned at the EU Delegation in Kyiv.

"Immediately after the visit to Ukraine, which will be held on November 12-13, Cox and Kwasniewski will fly to Brussels to present their final report at a meeting of the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament on Wednesday," the press service of the EU Delegation in Ukraine said.

As reported, Cox and Kwasniewski became observers from the European Parliament on the trial of ex-premier Yulia Tymoshenko and began work on June 11, 2012.

Their mandate was subsequently expanded to include the court proceedings involving former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko and former Acting Defense Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Ivaschenko.
