Cox-Kwasniewski mission leave Tymoshenko's clinic without comments
European Parliament observers - former Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski and former European Parliament President Pat Cox - have left Kharkiv Central Clinical Hospital No. 5, where convicted former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is undergoing medical treatment.
The minibus carrying Cox and Kwasniewski, accompanied by a traffic police car, left the territory of the hospital as usual without stopping to talk to the journalists who were waiting outside the hospital, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
Tymoshenko's supporters outside the hospital chanted "Free Yulia!" when the minibus was leaving the territory of the hospital. Cox and Kwasniewski spent two hours there.
Earlier in Kyiv on Friday, Cox and Kwasniewski held consultations with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, and the heads of parliamentary factions.
Asked about the talks with Ukrainian parliamentarians, Kwasniewski told journalists that they were very difficult. He also said that the talks would continue.
