Kyiv-based Batkivschyna organizes pro-EU march in city downtown on November 7
The Kyiv city organization of the Batkivschyna opposition group on November 7 will hold a march in Kyiv downtown to support the European aspirations of Ukraine and the passing of bills to resolve the "Tymoshenko issue."
The press service of Batkivschyna Kyiv office reported that the march would proceed from European Square to the Verkhovna Rada (along Hrushevskoho Street).
"This procession will be held in support of the desires of millions of Ukrainians to see Ukraine a member of the European Union. This march is a protest against the actions of the authorities, which are manipulating the freedom of Yulia Tymoshenko, not wishing to pass bills that permit the illegally imprisoned to go abroad for treatment, and, so to say, permit Ukraine to fulfill EU demands about selective justice," the report said.
