Ukrainian president opens Teremky subway station in Kyiv
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych on November 6 opened the Teremky subway station of the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska line in Kyiv.
"The main thing is not to stop the development of the subway. We have been building it, and we will keep building it. In addition, we have ordered 95 subway wagons, including 50 for Kyiv city," the head of state said.
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported that Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Kozak and Deputy Head of Kyiv City Administration Mykhailo Kostiuk also took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
