Lukashenko signs decree on building Belarusian NPP
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant on November 2, the press service of the Belarusian president told Interfax.
The president makes decisions on the construction of a nuclear power plant or a nuclear power plant's unit consistent with the Law on the Use of Atomic Energy.
"The decree enables the general contractor, Atomstroyexport (Russia), to start building the Belarusian NPP," the press service said.
