Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree appointing Volodymyr Totsky as the first deputy chief of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
Under another decree, Totsky was dismissed as chief of the SBU's main office in Crimea.
Earlier, the president issued a decree dismissing Petro Shatkovsky as SBU first deputy head.
Totsky had headed the SBU's main office in Crimea since March 2010.
