Government to submit 2014 draft budget to parliament in late November, says Azarov
The Ukrainian government will submit to the Verkhovna Rada the draft state budget for 2014 at the end of November, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"We are currently scrutinizing and developing a package of measures to step up the work on the implementation of the program on the revitalization of the economy and are going to get the best budget for 2014, in the second half of November, I believe. This work will be completed, and by the end of November, we will be ready to submit the budget to the Verkhovna Rada," he said during a political talk show on the First National Channel on Friday.
Azarov said that he was a supporter of a realistic budget, which should contribute to the financial and economic stabilization.
"This will be a real budget, but I hope that 2014 will be better than 2013," the head of government said.
